  • Petsurance provides the highest coverage available - 90% of your actual bill. There are no fee schedules. Petsurance pays 90% of whatever your veterinarian actually charges after the deductible. No questions asked!
  • Petsurance lets you use any licensed vet in the US and Canada.
  • Petsurance covers hereditary and congenital disorders. Hip dysplasia coverage is optional for puppies less than one year old, and may be added to a policy up to 30 days after the policy effective date.
  • Petsurance approves and pays claims in less than 7 days. On repeat claims we move even faster. In fact, of our most recent 10,000 repeat claims submitted by our pet owners, 9 out of 10 claims were processed and paid in less than 24 hours.
  • Petsurance does not penalize for filing claims. We never penalize responsible pet owners for having unlucky pets. This means your rates won't increase and your coverage won't be limited because you've submitted multiple claims.
  • Petsurance has no per incident cap.
  • Petsurance has no annual cap.
  • Petsurance has a $20,000 lifetime cap with no limits per year, claim, illness, procedure or condition. The lifetime cap will periodically increase to reflect increases in the costs of veterinary medicine.
  • Petsurance does NOT make age related rate increases, ever! Premiums are determined by the breed of your pet and the local costs of veterinary medicine. Increases are only based on inflation.
  • Policies never reset to exclude existing conditions. However, as with all insurance, pre-existing conditions (those identified prior to policy taking effect) are not covered, so the sooner you enroll the better for you and your pet.
